They were grinding an ax with journalists, which goes to demonstrate the clash of power dynamics between social media and professional journalism.

There was one point on Twitter where I criticized responders to an article on the verdict for being one-sided and they mobbed me with alleged evidence of Heard faking evidence, etc. One even had the audacity to liken me to a Derek Chauvin apologist.
