I suspect that many people who watched this trial don't care about supporting male victims of abuse, but gaining capital gain on TikTok or other social media platforms. They were grinding an ax with journalists, which goes to demonstrate the clash of power dynamics between social media and professional journalism.

There was one point on Twitter where I criticized responders to an article on the verdict for being one-sided and they mobbed me with alleged evidence of Heard faking evidence, etc. One even had the audacity to liken me to a Derek Chauvin apologist.
